The book "Globalization and International Education" by Robin Shields was unveiled in a ceremony attended by the book's translator at Imam Javad University in Yazd.

According to the Public Relations Office of Hazrat Javad Al-Aemeh Charity and Cultural Institute, Majid Javadianzadeh, the translator of the book, stated during the unveiling ceremony organized by the Javad Cultural and Artistic Institute at Imam Javad University that the book addresses the topic of globalization in the field of education. He noted that globalization is a massive process that has emerged over the past few decades and is generally recognized in economic contexts. However, this book focuses on the significant topic of education in the era of globalization

. Javadianzadeh explained that globalization impacts all aspects of our lives, adding, "Today, we see extensive similarities in various dimensions of life compared to other parts of the world. Time and space have become meaningless, and the global village has truly been realized, all of which are effects of globalization."

He further noted that the internet and cyberspace are among the tools and products of globalization. He emphasized, "One aspect that has received less attention in the context of globalization is education, which has adapted to globalization earlier than anything else. In this regard, we have become somewhat aligned with the rest of the world."

The translator of "Globalization and International Education" said that the book examines three major perspectives on globalization, each representing a distinct approach to culture.

In this ceremony, other speakers, including Gholamali Sefid, the CEO of Hazrat Javad Al-Aemeh Charity and Cultural Institute; Pourserajian, the president of Imam Javad University; Akram Fadakar, the director-general of IT and Communications in Yazd Province; and Misbahfar, a researcher in education, also discussed globalization and the necessity of aligning the education sector with this phenomenon.
